Monthly Newsletter

Emails include department events and external support offerings sent to Officers & their families.

Facebook Group

Beyond the Badge will open the Facebook group, manage a list of family members in the group and if possible verify with the employee list for safety. Beyond the Badge will also manage comments, posts, and information on the social media page. If the department wishes will provide Critical Incident communication as approved by the department to the families.

Holiday Support "Department Name" Santa (ex: APD Santa)

Providing gifts to children whose parents are working on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day delivered by Santa in a Patrol car.

Welcome to the Family Presents

Provide wedding gifts to Officers who get married and baby gifts to Officers who have a child to welcome the new members to the police family.

Additional Support

Meals on special holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas and support during riots and protests.

Support during critical incidents and line-of-duty deaths.

Critical Incident bags

Provided the department, wellness unit, or supervisors with critical incident bags with

items officers & their families may need during a critical incident that

involves a hospital stay.
